Mr. Thornton has more than 6 years of experience as a portfolio monitoring analyst and
business restructuring advisor and has served multiple clients within a wide array of
industries. Prior to joining LBC Credit Partners, Mr. Thornton worked at American
Capital where he was responsible for monitoring the performance of over $230 million of
both equity investments and senior and junior loans. Prior to that, Mr. Thornton worked
with both creditors and debtors at FTI Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers to
manage both parties through the turnaround and restructuring of distressed debt
scenarios. Mr. Thornton is a member of the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring
Advisors and is a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor.
