Research & Underwriting
Underwriting a transaction is a collaborative process here at LBC. Our research team members work with our Originators to lead the diligence efforts on deal opportunities. They are responsible for performing a thorough analysis of the company and industry, a process that includes completing data analytics and financial modeling. Once compiled into a complete underwriting document, they present the information to our investment committee for each company we fund. Want to be a part of the diligence action?
At LBC, our Originators are responsible for establishing and
maintaining relationships with middle market private equity sponsors,
banks and financial intermediaries within their designated regions.
Their job entails sourcing, structuring, negotiating and closing
debt and equity co-invest transactions for the platform. Think you

LBC’s portfolio management strategy is grounded in being proactive
with our portfolio companies and engaging with their management
teams, private equity sponsors and key stakeholders. Each member of
the portfolio management team is responsible for working directly
with these partners and monitoring dynamic financial, operational and
transactional information to make strategic decisions that impact our

Finance & Accounting
As an alternative fixed income manager, accounting and finance skills
play a large role in the day-to-day management of the funds and firm.
Our finance and accounting team members have responsibilities that
include investor reporting, management reporting, portfolio
administration, treasury and tax, working closely with our investors,
portfolio companies and other groups within LBC. Have a background
